Awarding of Anco

The Austrian Feed additive company Anco Animal Nutrition Competence GmbH gained Born Global Champion status at the 4Gamechangers festival 2019 on the 9th of April.
The Austria’s Born Global Champion prize recognizes Anco’s success in rapid global expansion and incorporating globalisation into their business strategies from the very beginning. ANCO collected the prize from the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber at the 4Gamechangers festival that took place in Vienna, Austria.
Margarete Schramböck, Austrian Minister of Economic Affairs and Digitization and Harald Mahrer, President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, who presented the award said during the ceremony: “We commend the Austrian startups, who have such courage to take on the risk not only to create a new business, but to also carry it out into the world at such an early stage. This contribution from the get-go to our export trade deserves a special thank you and support from us.”
Anco launched in 2016 and was first to market in the animal feed industry with their gut agility concept. Since then the company gained access to markets of 36 countries through local distribution partners across the globe.

Andreas Kern, managing partner at Anco responsible for product development explains: ”The novel concept of the Anco feed supplement range increases resilience to stress factors in pigs, poultry and ruminants by natural means with an agile approach. The gut agility activator products Anco FIT and Anco FIT Poultry, convinced a rapidly growing number of customers including some of the world’s top ten animal producers to add value to their feed and agility to their production system for safe food.”
Michael Eder, managing partner responsible for business development at Anco comments: “We are very honoured to receive this prestigious award and would like to thank all our distribution partners who contributed to our international success. We are expecting further growth to our international platform this year and look forward to continue contributing to sustainable agriculture globally on a larger scale”
