Innovation needs research. Their own department for research & product development drives innovation progress at BEWITAL agri
. In order to give them even more space, the Münsterland-based special feed manufacturer has now completed and moved into its new Innovation Center. The new premises include not only the analytics accompanying production, but also possibilities to accompany the entire development process of products with the most modern test methods. In future, it will be possible to carry out even more efficient and significantly improved nutrient analyses and simulate digestive processes in animals. For example, to evaluate matrix-encapsulated products (BEWI-FATRIX®).
With the new building of the Innovation Center, BEWITAL agri is bringing reinforcement to the team. Since July 1, 2020, the Research and Product Development department has been expanded to include Dr. Ralph Schemmer in addition to Dr. Michael Hovenjürgen and Dr. Jan Voss. As an agricultural engineer with a doctorate, Dr. Ralph Schemmer will be primarily involved in the new and further development of the product fields for monogastric animals and will also look after the sales force and customers in the national and international sales area. Thanks to his many years of experience in animal nutrition, both in the field of additives and in the compound feed industry, Schemmer has a high level of expertise.
Hans-Bernd von Hebel
Also new to the team is Hans-Bernd von Hebel. After studying agriculture, he gained over ten years of experience in sales and consulting for products for the feed industry. After a successful induction, Hans-Bernd von Hebel now supports the international sales team of BEWITAL agri as Key Account Manager. In future he will be responsible for the Baltic States, Finland, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, France, Spain and Portugal.
"We are very pleased to have won two experienced colleagues from the agricultural sector for us: Dr. Ralph Schemmer and Hans-Bernd von Hebel. With their expertise and ideas they will contribute to our long-term and sustainable success", says Gerrit-Jan Overbeek, Managing Director of BEWITAL agri.
