The International Feed Technology Congress - IFTC - provides information on the latest technological developments in feed production. It is already taking place for the second time.
The congress is organized by Wageningen University and the Victam Foundation and will take place on May 31 from 9:00 to 17:00. Numerous experts from all over the world have been invited: from Canada, Norway, Serbia, Costa Rica, Denmark or the USA. They will report on new findings and approaches in process technology. The range of topics is diverse:
- Birger Svihus from Norway, for example, reports in his key note on the redefinition of the grinding and pelleting process for an optimized micro- and macrostructure of broiler feed.
- Ruurd Zijlstra, a Canadian scientist, will devote his key note to fractionation of ingredients for animal nutrition.
- D.D. Miladinovic from Norway presents how fish meal can be replaced by Torula yeast.
- And N. Jaworski from the Netherlands will give a presentation on using feed technologies to reduce environmental impacts in feed mills and swine operations.
