The premiere "EuroTier / EnergyDecentral digital" ended successfully on 12 February. Over 41,000 participants dialled into the digital platform of the DLG (German Agricultural Society) on the four days of the event (9 to 12 February). They informed themselves about the offerings of around 1,200 participating companies, discussed in over 300 specialist events and networked specifically with the industry. 45 percent of the participants came from abroad.

"With 'EuroTier / EnergyDecentral digital', the DLG's new platform has successfully positioned itself right away as a digital business network and forum for professional exchange for the national and international agricultural industry. The convincing access and interaction rates as well as the great interest in the digital specialist programme are an expression of the networking competence of farmers, the industry and our members. The digital format will complement our physical trade fairs in the future," concludes DLG Executive Director Dr Reinhard Grandke.
The investment intentions of the participants on the platform were exceptionally high and, according to them, amounted to around 2.8 billion euros.
One reason for this is the high rate of 76 percent of decision-makers on the platform. This is the result from the current visitor registration.
Under the guiding theme of "Farming in the food chain", DLG, as the organiser, had set up a technical supporting programme with eight parallel online video channels and over 300 interactive programmes, which addressed all the current future topics of the global livestock sector and decentralised energy supply. Visitors were able to participate interactively in numerous talk rounds and discussion events. In total, the trade programme was visited around 83,000 times during the four days on the platform.
Highlights included digital industry events such as the International Poultry Event, the Cattle & Pig Event and the presentation of the EuroTier and EnergyDecentral Innovation Awards. A special highlight was the DLG Winter Conference, which took place in parallel on the DLG digital platform on 11 February with over 2,500 participants.
All content of "EuroTier / EnergyDecentral digital" will be available on the digital platform from 18 February to 15 April. Participants thus continue to have the opportunity to find out about the exhibitors' offers and the contents of the technical programme. They can also network with the companies via text messages and contact requests.
The next EuroTier and EnergyDecentral will take place from 15 to 18 November 2022 at the Hannover Exhibition Centre. The range of exhibits will then be optimally supplemented by the DLG digital platform. The organiser of EuroTier and EnergyDecentral is the DLG (German Agricultural Society).
