This year for the first time , the "Special Summit on Feed Law" will preced the German Food Law Day in the Kurhaus Wiesbaden, which has been established for over three decades. The conference addresses current issues such as the competences of the authorities to intervene, product liability and product recalls (producer and product liability in cross-border feed distribution, official notification requirements in the event of feed crises, product recalls in the field and cost regressions in the supply chain) as well as insects as new nutrient suppliers (current legal situation for live and dead insects as feed, current problems with insects as feed). Furthermore, the challenges in the approval of additives and their coping as well as necessary consequences from the decision of the European Court of Justice for mutagenesis (RSC-528 / I6) are discussed - topics as they also appear in the field of food law, which once again shows the close connection between Food and feed law underlines.
The event is aimed in particular at entrepreneurs and lawyers from the feed and food industries, lawyers specializing in food and feed law, industry associations and monitoring authorities, but also at analysts and chemists as well as science and research.
The "Special Summit on Feed Law" will take place on March 25th in the Hotel Nassauer Hof in Wiesbaden and will be organized by ZLR - Zeitschrift für das gesamte Lebensmittelrecht, agrarzeitung and FeedMagazine in cooperation with the business law firm Graf von Westphalen, Hamburg.
