The members of the Supervisory Board of the Forum Modern Agriculture (FML) have elected Stefan Streng (Federal Association of German Plant Breeders e.V.) as new Chairman. Streng follows Michael Hess (BASF SE), who had given up his post after changing his position within BASF SE. Deputy Chairman continues to be Dr. Thomas Kirchberg of Südzucker AG.
"The Modern Agriculture Forum has established itself as an important platform for dialogue between agriculture and the urban population during its five-year existence. I am pleased to be able to closely accompany this development as the new Chairman of the Supervisory Board, "said Streng shortly after his election.
In addition, Dr. Helmut Schramm resigned from his post as member of the supervisory board, who previously represented Bayer CropScience Germany on the board. He too had taken on other tasks internally at Bayer. As a result, the FML General Assembly elected Peter R. Müller (Bayer CropScience Germany) and Michael Wagner (BASF Agricultural Solutions) as new members of the Supervisory Board.
The FML Supervisory Board oversees the management of the Executive Board and advises it on matters of fundamental importance. It currently has the following persons:

  •     Dr. Stefan Streng, Federal Association of German Plant Breeders e.V. (Chairman)
  •     Dr. Thomas Kirchberg, Südzucker AG (Deputy Chairman)
  •     Peter R. Müller, Bayer CropScience Germany GmbH
  •     Hans-Jürgen Müller, K + S Aktiengesellschaft
  •     Michael Wagner, BASF SE
  •     Cornelia Horsch, HORSCH Maschinen GmbH (permanent guest)
