At the end of November, Kynetec and the Kleffmann Group completed a transaction to merge the global market research companies of the Kleffmann Group with those of Kynetec.
The merger has been driven by the challenges of customer consolidation in the animal health and agriculture sectors, as well as the need to continue to invest in digital technologies, taking full advantage of the increasing availability of big data. The newly merged company will develop globally consistent solutions, global survey communities of farmers and advanced analytics with the goal of taking the generation of market intelligence to the next level.
Based on the foundations of two successful companies and the combination of the best of both worlds, the merger of the market research areas of Kynetec and the Kleffmann Group proves to be highly complementary with only a few overlapping areas.
The current product and service portfolio of both companies remains fully intact. All Kynetec team members and the market research team of the Kleffmann Group will be part of the newly merged company. Burkhard Kleffmann, former major shareholder and CEO of the Kleffmann Group, has left the Kleffmann Group to focus on developing the My Data Plant / Crop Radar remote sensing agricultural business - a noncompetitive company.
The newly merged company comprises around 950 market researchers, interviewers, data analysts, marketing researchers and data visualization specialists in 30 countries.
The new business size enables continuous investment in innovation and strengthens market research in terms of its ability and depth of knowledge; For customers, data access will improve in speed and frequency.
