Nanolike sensors can provide information on how much feed is still in the silo via smartphone. Silo specialist Herbert Lamping is taking over sales of this digital fill level solution.

Nanolike, a French company based in Toulouse, has developed a digital sensor solution that can facilitate inventory and order management processes for pig, poultry and cattle farmers, as well as optimize the delivery processes of feed producers and distributors for silo filling. According to the company, the silo fill level digitization solution features efficient sensor technology and cloud connectivity technology via the Sigfox 0G wireless network. It operates maintenance-free for years and does not require an external power supply or data line. This saves costs and thus the investment in digitization pays off particularly quickly.

The silo specialist Herbert Lamping from Visbeck has taken over sales. The digital silo level solution is offered on a subscription basis. "No longer having to look up silo levels on site but on your smartphone is a huge step forward and makes feed inventory management very simple and efficient," explains Heribert Lamping, who has been an expert in agricultural silos for over 40 years. With a flat monthly fee of €31 including installation, the company hopes to further boost demand. One of the first customers that Lamping was able to win over is the Rothkötter company from Meppen in Lower Saxony, which is currently using the Nanolike sensors, for example, in day silos for broiler parent animals, a Nanolike statement continues.

Nanolike is an internationally active company that specializes in innovative measurement and digitization technologies for optimizing supply chains. Expert engineers from the nanotechnology and process technology divisions, as well as software and hardware developers, develop digital solutions that allow, for example, the automation of supply chains of gaseous, liquid or free-flowing substances that are transported or stored in IBCs, silos or tanks. According to its own information, Nanolike is represented with projects in Europe, North America and Asia. Target markets are primarily the agricultural sector as well as the food and chemical industries.
