Marc Peerlings, Loe Verheijen, Paul Roefs and Hans Peeters took over Poeth.
The management has taken over the company from the current owner, who has held the shares long-term since 1999. "The strength of Poeth is that we have development and production in-house. This guarantees our flexibility and means that we can respond effectively to the needs of our customers. The management team has been thinking a lot about the takeover and all members are proud that they now own the company, "said Marc Peerlings, General Manager of Poeth.
Poeth operates both in the Netherlands and internationally and specializes in the development and construction of machinery and systems for the powder and bulk handling industries. The company employs 65 people and operates in various segments, including food, feed, bulk, brewery and chemicals. It develops, produces and installs all its machines itself and carries out all its projects independently. Poeth offers a wide range of services, from consulting to turnkey projects and everything in between.
Although the team has already been in charge of Poeth's day-to-day operations, they are now in a better position to ensure the company stays on track. Founded in 1921, Poeth has grown over the years and has developed into a successful, stable company with extensive knowledge of machines, systems and processes. "The management team wants to build on the success of Poeth. We will continue our current activities and continue to provide our customers with the same service they have come to expect from us. As a management team, we will now focus more on continuity and innovation. Technological innovation is one of the most important cornerstones of our company, "says Marc Peerlings. At the end of 2018, Poeth received permission to build a new production facility at its current location. "We expect to begin construction of this 2,700 m2 facility in the second quarter of 2019."
